Mary Clawges

Mary Zakrzewski Clawges, 74, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. She was born on May 1, 1949 in Szczuczyn, Poland to the late Alexander and Victoria Zakrzewski.

Mrs. Clawges was an accountant with Atlantic Converting. She also volunteered as a long term care ombudsman for nursing homes in Jacksonville, FL and for many years in South Carolina as well.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee Clawges of Chesnee; daughter, Lori Clawges of Boiling Springs; son, Dain Clawges of Hendersonville, NC; and two beloved pets, Tiffany and Wyatt.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM until 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens

A small reception will be held at Eggers Funeral Home at noon after the burial.
