Marius Veretinskas

Marius Veretinskas, of Duncan, South Carolina, passed away, January 23, 2025, in Spartanburg.

Mr. Veretinskas was born on November 24, 1976, in Panevėžys, Lithuania.

Marius was a devoted husband to Vilma Veretinskiene and a loving father to his daughter, Daniele Veretinskas, and son, Benas Veretinskas. He is also remembered fondly by his nephew, Lukas Koliusko, and his best friend, Virgis Pavalavičius. Marius was predeceased by his sister, Donalda Pavilonienė. He was the cherished son of Jonas Veretinskas and Izolda Zapolskytė.

A self-employed mechanic by trade, Marius had a deep passion for cars and took pride in his work. Beyond his profession, he found joy in fishing, boating, and spending time on the lake. Known for his generous spirit and willingness to help others, Marius was a good friend to many and left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Originally from Lithuania, Marius made Spartanburg his home while maintaining strong ties to his roots. His life was marked by hard work, dedication to family, and a love for the simple pleasures that brought people together.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
