Margo Joanne Mcpherson

Margo "Joanne" McPherson, 88, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. She was born March 3, 1937, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Walter Williams and Leila Dameron Williams. Joanne was the wife of the Alvin Owen McPherson and was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Margo Dotson Carson; grandson, Jonathon (Jamie) Edwards; and great grandchildren, Gavin Edwards, Hudson Edwards, and Hadley Edwards.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one son, Stanley Dotson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 1:00pm at Heritage Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Mike Shackelford officiating.
