Luvada Mary Jones

Luvada Mary Baker Jones, age 72, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away at Wesley Court Assisted Living Home on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Mrs. Jones was born on November 5, 1952, in St. Lawrence, New York, a daughter of the late Mary Louise Byers Baker and Lawrence Edward Baker. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Greenpoint Baptist Church. Luvada was a business owner and was passionate about taking care of and grooming her customer's beloved pets.

Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Jenny Sharp, and her husband, Richard, of Henrietta, New York; her friend of forty-one years, Pat Miller, her husband, Dennis Johnson, and Pat's sons, Chad Miller and Derrick Miller; and a cousin, Gary Jones, and his wife, Jonie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband, Mr. William John Jones.

A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, South Carolina with Rev. Dr. David Lancaster officiating.
