Lois Ella Turner

Ms. Lois Ella Turner, age 79, of Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Ms. Turner was born in Baltimore, Maryland, November 21, 1944, a daughter of the late Oscar Sam Turner and Inez Blankenship Rumley.  She was a graduate of Fairforest High School and a member of Bethel Assembly of God.  Lois was an avid listener of Charles Stanley sermons.  She was very proud of raising Godly sons; one that is a pastor and one that has served as a Deacon.  Ms. Turner enjoyed her grandchildren and was enamored with her new great-granddaughter.  She had strong Appalachian roots and many fond memories of spending time with family there and at the beaches of Virginia. Lois loved growing things - especially flowers, enjoyed word games, and was a huge Elvis fan.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Pastor Richard M. Turner, II, Todd Turner, and wife, Shanon; sister, Kathy McAbee; brother, Sam Turner; grandchildren, Dr. TJ Turner, Christi T. Noffsinger, and husband, Dillon, and Hayden Turner; and great-granddaughter, Magnolia Jane Noffsinger. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a special aunt, Zella Blankenship.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs conducted by Rev. Danny Garrett. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
