Linda A. Ford

Linda A. Ford, 83, of Inman, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on November 11, 2025, at White Oak Manor in Spartanburg, under the compassionate care of hospice. Born on October 31, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Eulan Ford Sr. and Lois Abernathy Ford.

Linda dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. In her early years, she worked as a beautician, sharing her warmth and creativity with those around her. She later became a certified dietary manager, serving at Inman Nursing Home and Golden Age Nursing Home, where she was known for her compassion and commitment to the residents. After many years of service, she retired to become the full-time caregiver for her beloved mother, Lois. Her quiet strength, gentle heart, and deep devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew her.

A woman of the Baptist faith, Linda found great comfort in her relationship with the Lord. She lived her faith through kindness, humility, and compassion toward others.

She found great joy in simple moments—spending time with loved ones and watching her great-great nieces and nephews at their sporting events. She was a cherished sister, aunt, and "bonus grandmother," whose steady presence brought warmth and peace to her family.

Linda is survived by her loving and devoted sister, Georgia Johnson; brother, Eulan Ford Jr. (Luz); and her special niece, Robyn Cunningham and her husband David Cunningham. She is also survived by her nephew, Tim Johnson and his wife Pam Johnson; her great-nieces Keri, Alaina, and Lauren; her great-nephew Tyler; and many extended family members who dearly loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulan Ford Sr. and Lois Ford, and her brother-in-law, Rev. Henry Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Jim Cunningham.

Linda's life was guided by faith, humility, and compassion. She has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.
