Leona Stone Hollifield

Leona Stone Hollifield, age 83, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023.

She was born August 9, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Thomas and Lemmie Splawn Stone and was the widow of Wilford Lee Hollifield.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris Hollifield, Mike Hollifield (Pam); daughters, Darlene Branch (Tony), Marlene Nichols (Kent); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a son, Randy Hollifield and brothers, Franklin Stone, Lloyd Stone and Larry Stone and an sister, Emma Mae Holgerson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park with the Rev. David Lancaster officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Eggers Funeral Home.
