Lajuan Lane Bobo

LaJuan Lane Burgess Bobo, born on October 9, 1953, went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2024. Her life was marked by a profound love for her family, a boundless kindness, and a spirit of adventure that took her on many travels and into the hearts of everyone that she met. A proud graduate of Spartanburg High School and Limestone College, she embodied a spirit of warmth and compassion that defined her life.

Having a thirst for adventure, LaJuan loved to travel. She loved taking cruises, camping with her family, and taking trips to the beach. Never one to shy away from new experiences, she was always ready to pick up and move to follow her dreams. That adventurous spirit led her to live in Myrtle Beach, Los Angeles, and Florida, where she embraced each new chapter with enthusiasm and grace. When she moved to Florida, it was to be near her sister Tracy, with whom she shared a close and loving bond. Her heart ultimately led her back to Boiling Springs, where she could be close to her son, Travis, his wife, Lani, and her beloved grandchildren, Olivia and Mary. It was here, surrounded by them, that she found her greatest happiness.  She also had a deep passion for NASCAR and never missed a race but the activity she cherished most was sitting in a rocking chair watching her beloved Clemson Tigers play football.

LaJuan was known for her kindness and sweet spirit; anyone who met her immediately felt at ease and loved her. She was the glue that held her family together, and her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt. She was predeceased by her mother, Faye Burgess. She is survived by her son, Travis Bobo (Lani), grandchildren, Olivia and Mary. She is also survived by her sister, Tracy Sereque (Mike), her two nieces, Eden (Dylan) and Eva, and a cousin, Wayland, who was like a brother to her.

LaJuan will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of life, and her deep devotion to her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. We are lost without her, but her memory will continue to guide and inspire us.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1pm at Northbrook Baptist Church, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory, the beautiful life she lived, and the person that she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northbrook Baptist Church in LaJuan's memory to continue the spirit of generosity and love she exemplified.
