Kimberly Ann Owens Atkins

Kimberly, our beloved young light, left this world far too soon, leaving behind a void that words can scarcely fill. She was a strong fighter through every challenge life threw her way, facing them with unyielding courage and grace.

What defined Kimberly most was the way she loved fiercely—pouring her heart into every relationship, every moment, and every person fortunate enough to cross her path. Above all, she was the greatest mother ever to her two precious girls, nurturing them with endless devotion, tenderness, and joy, guiding them with a love that knew no bounds.

She was loved by many, a true bright shining personality that lit up everything around her, turning ordinary days into memories filled with laughter, warmth, and light. And though she never got to hold him, Kimberly would have been the best mother to her baby boy James—showering him with the same fierce, unwavering love that made her so extraordinary.

To her mom, she was forever her baby girl, the precious daughter who held a special place in her heart. To her dad, she was his mini me, a reflection of his spirit and a source of endless pride.

Kimberly will be forever missed by all those who knew her—as a devoted friend, as cherished family, and as the radiant soul who made the world a better place simply by being in it.

Though she is gone too soon, her love and light will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched—especially in her beautiful girls and in the dreams of what could have been with James. Rest in peace, dear Kimberly. You are loved beyond measure.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, James Anthony Owens, Jr. and Jenny Leigh Dunford Owens; fiancé, Joshua Sinclair; daughters, Alayna Atkins and Julianna Owens; sister, Trinity Owens; brothers, Joshua Owens and Clay Parris; as well as maternal grandmother, Wanda Ellason; and paternal grandmother, Gail Owens.

She was predeceased by her son, James Anthony David Sinclair; maternal grandfather, Ronald Ray Dunford; and paternal grandfather, James Anthony Owens, Sr.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Friends of Faith Baptist Church in Pacolet, SC, A family conducted memorial service will follow at 2:00pm.
