Kenneth Eugene McCombs, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Eugene McCombs, Sr., 76, loving husband of the late Doris McCombs, of Lyman, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Kenneth was born in Spartanburg County on August 25, 1950, to the late George and Virginia Westmoreland McCombs. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Kenneth E. McCombs, Jr., and his wife, Candice, Katie E. Looney and her husband, Larry, C. Austane McCombs, and A. Lewis Duncan, Jr.; his grandchildren, Justin L. McCombs, C. Seth Seager, Kenneth E. McCombs, III, and his wife, Erin, Krysta N. Profera and her husband, Brenton, Ethan J. McCombs and his wife, Hannah, Christopher W. Knighton, Cory G. Looney and his wife, Kendell, and Kayla L. Robinson and her husband, Khalil; and his great-grandchildren, Braxton Crossin, Abigail Crossin, Ella McCombs, Grayson McCombs, Sophia Profera, and Azilyn Chhim.

In addition to his loving wife and his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be C. Austane McCombs, Justin L. McCombs, Kenneth E. McCombs III, A. Lewis Duncan, Jr., C. Seth Seager, Ethan J. McCombs, and Brenton Profera.
