Karen Marie Mumford

Karen Marie Mumford, 56, of Cowpens, SC passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Born in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Arsenault and Sheila Jeanette Arsenault. Karen retired from Publix after many years of working as a florist. She was very family oriented, and dearly loved spending time with her family. Karen was very fond of dolphins and frogs. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Cowpens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Stephen Alan Mumford; and her best friend, Cynthia Ann Seligman.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Sargent; four step-sons, Samuel Mumford, Anthony Mumford, Michael Mumford and Ryan Mumford; brother, Todd Arsenault; niece, Jaymi Sargent; and three step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:45pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A funeral service to celebrate Karen's life will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Jason Metcalf officiating.
