Johnny Burl Rochester

Johnny Burl Rochester, 57, of Chesnee, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Johnny was born in Spartanburg, SC on August 2, 1968, a son of the late Shirley White Mann and Bill Mann.  He worked for many years with Tindall Concrete and more recently as a welder with Anderson Welding Service.  He was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan and enjoyed watching the football games on tv.  When he wasn't watching football, he enjoyed relaxing with his next favorite, "The Andy Griffith Show".

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rhonda Rochester; daughter, Danielle R. Myers (Justin);  son, Jonathan Rochester (Brittany); sister, Sheryl Mann (Matt Johnson); brothers, Jackie Rochester, and Bobby Rochester (Rita Chapman) and their families; three grandchildren, Hannah Myers, Abby Rochester, and Dalton Rochester; mother-in-law, Betty Jackson; sister-in-law, Ellie Lee; nieces, Samantha Lee, and Ashley Lee; nephew, Troy Dwayne Jackson; four great- nieces, and one great-nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Billy Mann.

A memorial service will be held later.
