Johnnie Butler English

Johnnie Butler English, 71, of Inman, SC passed away Friday, January 13, 2023.

Born in Duplin County, NC, he was a son of the late John Bert English and Lucille Mobley English. Johnnie was a very hard worker and was physically active all his life. He was funny, adventurous, and loyal. Johnnie proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Johanna Waldron, and a sister, Wanda English.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Rose Humphries English, daughter, Rebecca Marie English, two sisters: Janice White (Stan) and Susan English, brother, Tony English, and four grandchildren: Avery Waldron, Jacob Waldron, Christian Pruitt, and Jayda Roth.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
