Johnathan Boyd Black

Mr. Johnathan Boyd Black age 47, husband of Holly Anthony Black passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Mr. Black was born October 9, 1976, in Horry, SC, a son of Mary Jo Black and the late Richard Ashley Black.  He was the owner and operator of Elevation Surveying.  He was a loving husband, son, father, papa, brother, and friend.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #206 in Loris, SC and was also a Shriner.  Mr. Black was a grill master, a great singer, an avid Clemson Fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are daughter, Britton Kayla Black, of Charlotte, NC; brother, Richard Ashley Black II (Nichole) of Loris, SC; bonus sons, Cole Aaron Magagnotti (MaKayla) of Spartanburg, SC, and Jacob Thomas Magagnotti of Dover, DE; grandchildren, Gradison Dupree Carter, and Josie Simone Magagnotti; nieces, Caitie Ashley Black, and Bailey Nichole Black; and nephews, Jacob Walker Black, and Carter Austin Black.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2023, at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs conducted by Pastor John Holmes.

Pallbearers will be Lauch Martin, Shaw Williams, Blair Anderson, Ace Parker, John Craig, Clint Lupo, Reynolds Watson, and Kris Causey.

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
