John Lee Hord

John Lee Hord, 96, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. He was born June 3, 1928 to the late Ralph M. Hord and Eula McKinney Hord.

Mr. Hord was of the Baptist faith and a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church, where he was in the Upper Room Sunday School Class. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean war.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Renee Hord Heffner (Jimmy); son, Johnny K. Hord (Kathy); four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Padgett Hord; sister, Mary Lou Hord; and brother, Paul M. Hord.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00AM at Springhill Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Larry Fleming officiating.
