John David Buchanan

John David Buchanan, 85, of Cowpens, SC passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was born in Socastee, SC on September 26, 1937 to the late Prentice Lee and Retha Mae Mishoe Buchanan.

Mr. Buchanan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Davis Electric after 40 years.

He is survived by daughters, Sondra Mullinax of Mayo, and Tonya Jones of Cowpens; sons, Ricky Buchanan and Randy Buchanan, both of Chesnee; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Martha Lousie Mishoe Buchanan, he was predeceased by two brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 20, 2023  at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee, with the Rev. Tim Worthy and Rev. Jonathan Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00PM prior to the service at Eggers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
