Jesse Wayne Belue

Jesse Wayne Belue, 84, husband of Marian Wheeler Belue, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at his home.

Born November 29, 1941, in Union, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Jesse Edward Belue and Madge Harris Belue. Wayne attended Jonesville High School and retired from Milliken and Company after 45 years of service. He was a member of Foster’s Chapel Methodist Church and served for six years in the SC National Guard.

Wayne was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the Hejaz Hillbilly Clan. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #017 of Camden. He was an avid sports fan who proudly cheered for the Clemson Tigers, Washington Redskins, New York Yankees, and his favorite NASCAR drivers. He also enjoyed fishing, and playing spider solitaire on his computer.  Wayne remained especially close to his siblings and will be remembered as a wonderful joke teller and storyteller and a proud “Papa.” Above all, Wayne loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them.  

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Marian Wheeler Belue; a daughter, Angela “Angie” Belue Horne and her fiancé, Michael Putnam; sons, Michael "Mickey" Wayne Belue and his wife, Amy,  Adrian Sean “Shane” Belue and his wife, Susan, and Marion Heath Belue;  brothers, Neil Belue and his wife, Carolyn, Ricky Belue, and Jimmy Belue and his wife, Robin; three grandchildren, Kayla Belue Gault and her husband, Wesley, MaryMichael Belue Fowler and her husband, Ce, and Tanner Smith Belue; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Addaleigh, and Case Gault; sister-in-law, Debi Belue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Belue Grady, and her husband, Robert; brothers, Dennis Belue and Larry Belue, and his wife, Linda; and a grandson, Christopher Adam Horne.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Foster’s Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church, conducted by the Rev. Lee Coyle, the Rev. Brad Goodale, and the Rev. Chad Ponder. Burial will follow in Porter-Gallman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Ivey, William Belue, Joey Belue, Josh Belue, Tanner Belue, Todd Little, Wesley Gault, Ce Fowler and Samuel Farr. 

The family will be at the home.
