Jerry Ryan Mason

Jerry Ryan Mason, 77, of Inman, SC passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He left behind his wife of 55 years, Marsha McKillop Mason, his son, Allen Mason (Gina), granddaughter and travel buddy, Danielle Mason, and sister, Kathy Mason Dittemore (Ken).

He lived life to the fullest and was an avid Street Rodder. The love for his precious dog, Diamond, family, friends, and cars was evident to all. Mason's Hot Rods was his daily hangout where he worked along side his son. His prior work was with NASCAR and Bud Moore Racing, which lead to his "Hollywood" career in films Days of Thunder, Black Dog, Talladega Nights, Dukes of Hazzard, and others.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mildred Mason, and brother, Kenneth Allen Mason.

Family will be at the home of his sister at 205 Staman Drive, Inman, SC on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Bring your Street Rod and favorite memories.
