Jerry Thomas Hines

Jerry Thomas Hines, 87, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away at home in Chesnee, South Carolina.
Born April 10, 1938, in Polk County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Gerald Hines and Edna Damron Hines.

Jerry spent his life working as a truck driver and mechanic. He had a natural talent for fixing things and especially loved "piddling" with lawnmowers. He was member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Starnes Hines, and by his son, Thomas Jermey Hines. He is survived by his brother, James Robert Hines, and wife, Margaret.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church 4251 Chesnee Road, Rutherfordton, conducted by Rev. Abrams. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
