Jeffery Ryan Porter

Jeffery Ryan Porter, son of the late Helen Pruitt Porter and Ryan Porter went to be with his late wife, Phyllis Porter and his Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, after a long battle of declining health.

He was a member of the Valley Falls First Baptist Church where he served as many roles including Chairman of the Deacons. Jeffery loved his church, his friends and family.

Left to remember his testimony is his daughter, Christy (Jerry) Lockhart and granddaughter,  Autumn Lockhart.  He is also survived by a brother, Steve (Harriet) Porter; and several sisters-in-law; Carla Owings, Melissa (John) Norman and Mindy (Robby) McCullough. He had numerous nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to Agape Hospice for their care.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Porter's life will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Valley Falls First Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Atkins and Rev. Gary Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be before the service from 3:00pm – 4:00pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the home.
