Jeanette Roddy

Jeanette Roddy, 95, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Fred McAbee, Sr. and Montie Loftis McAbee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Eugene Roddy; four sisters; a brother; and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Gregory.

Mrs. Roddy is survived by her daughter, Vicki Gregory; two grandchildren, Kevin Gregory and Nick Gregory (Amie); five great-grandchildren, Taylor Vassell (Ryan), Andrew Gregory, Chase Gregory, Amelia Gregory and Izabella Gregory; and a great-great-granddaughter, Ava Michelle Vassell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in the chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with the Rev. Tommy Comer officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
