Janelle Marlowe Caddell

Mrs. Janelle Marlowe Caddell, age 94, loving wife of the late Fred Caddell, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mrs. Caddell was a daughter of the late Isaac Oard and Cora Thomas Marlowe who was born in Spartanburg County on July 23, 1932.Janelle was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, a board member of Release Time with School Ministries of Spartanburg and was a retired nurse after many years.

She is survived by her two sons and their families: Randall Caddell and his wife Myra of Chesnee, and Timothy Caddell and his wife Allyson of Boiling Springs; her grandchildren: Jennifer Caddell McKinney and her husband Jeffery of Gaffney, Joshua Caddell and his wife Stephanie of Lyman, Justin Caddell and his wife Blair of Pauline, and Erik Caddell and his wife Courtney of Moore; and her great-grandchildren: Rachel McKinney, Lydia McKinney, Elizabeth Caddell, Stephen Caddell, Asher Caddell, Ryleigh Caddell, and Addison Caddell.

In addition to her Fred, her loving husband; and Isaac and Cora, her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: James Walter Marlowe and Roy K. Marlowe; and her sisters: Eleanor Marlowe Cantrell and Elaine “Patty” Marlowe Lidji.

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs, SC, from 2:30 PM until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The funeral will follow at 3:30 PM. A private graveside service will be held on Monday at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. The
