James "Big O" Olin Seay

James Olin "Big O" Seay, 78, husband to Eula Faye Westbrooks of Inman, SC passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2025, at his home. Born February 27, 1947, in Inman, SC, he was a son of the late Wilson DeFoy Seay and Eliza Metz Parris.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Big O was known for his larger-than-life personality and the love he poured into his family and friends. He was a hardworking man who found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was casting a line while fishing, hunting in the woods, or enjoying a good cigar in the company of friends. Wherever Big O went, his faithful dog Bear was always by his side.

He made his mark as a produce seller, traveling to farmers markets near and far, where he quickly became a local celebrity with his warm smile, quick wit, and unmatched ability to connect with people. Each holiday season, he brought joy to countless families by dressing as Santa Claus, sharing his jolly laugh and generous spirit that fit him so well.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryll Deeanna Seay; brother, Ronald DeFoy Seay, and sister, Sammantha S. Clary.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eula Faye Seay; daughter, Amanda Fowler (Tim); granddaughters, Deeanna Blackwell (Clint), Rebekah Fowler, and Chelsea Fowler; sister, Linda Brewer, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that were more like family.

A funeral service to celebrate Big O's life will be held 12:00PM on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Rev. Michael Fowler officiating.

Committal will follow in Boiling Springs First Baptist church cemetery.

The family with receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

Big O lived fully and loved deeply, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family will be at the home.
