James Allen Morris

James Allen Morris, 79, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023.  He was the husband of Barbara Messer Morris for 60 years.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Joseph W. Morris and the late Esther Evatt Morris. James was a member of the North Spartanburg Church of God. He served in the U. S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Morris and Lorie Jackson (Bill); three grandsons, Kiah Graves (Tori), Blake Graves (Breanne) and Ryan Graves; and 7 great grandchildren; a brother David Morris (Genelle); niece Melissa Compton; and was predeceased by a brother, Clayton Morris.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at North Spartanburg Church of God.
