James Lanier Henderson

James Lanier Henderson, 80, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was born in Spartanburg on December 18, 1943 to the late Allaree Hall Henderson and Curtis Henderson.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his daughter, Shannon McCarter (Jason) of Inman; granddaughter, Jessica Richardson (Josh) of Inman; great grandchildren, Noah and Addy Richardson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marie McSwain; and brother, Marvin Henderson.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee, with Rev. Troy Blanton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
