James David Fowler

James David Fowler, 69, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late James General Fowler and Omer Sue Edwards Fowler. He was of the Baptist faith. David worked as a groundskeeper at Converse College for many years. While working for Converse College, David took courses in horticulture and art. He knew about almost everything when it came to plants and gardening, which he loved to do. David's other passion was oil painting. He was so talented and creative. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Daniel Fowler; and brother-in-law, Robert Cox.

David is survived by his two sisters, Linda Fowler and Amanda F. Cox; two brothers, Paul Allen Fowler (Sharon) and Max Lee Fowler; a niece, Sarah Fowler; two nephews, Daniel Fowler (Amy) and Austin Fowler (Ally); and two great-nephews, Mason Fowler and Aden Fowler.

A private service will be held at a later date.
