James Robert Bailey

James Robert Bailey, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home.

Born in Manhattan, MT, he was a son of the late Robert E. Bailey and Ann Joynt Bailey. James was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Army after proudly serving his country for over 20 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Bailey (Dawn), James Bailey (Colleen), and Andrew Bailey (Danielle); sister, Betina Carson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford, SC with Rev. Terry Candler officiating.
