Jacqueline "Jackie" Bernice Brown

Jacqueline Bernice Brown, lovingly known as "Jackie," passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on September 11, 1962, in Norfolk, Virginia Jackie lived a life marked by compassion, creativity, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Irene Brown; her sister, Virginia Lee Brown Garland; and her brother, James Harvey Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Lettie B. Link of Spartanburg, Holly Lynn Brown (Shaun) of Boiling Springs, and Pamela Gilbert of Campobello; her brothers, Fredrick Brown Jr. (Karen) of Bakersfield, NC and Bruce Brown (Amanda) of Inman. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own and who held a very special place in her heart.

Jackie will also be deeply missed by her beloved dog, George, who was a faithful companion and constant source of joy in her life.

For 27 years, Jackie faithfully served as a Registered Nurse in the ICU/Neuro Unit at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was admired for her dedication, compassionate care, and loving spirit, touching countless lives throughout her career.

Jackie will be remembered for her loving and kind nature, her infectious smile, and her wonderful sense of humor. She had a special gift for crafting beautiful jewelry, wreaths, and handmade treasures, and she found great joy in the beauty of nature.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family members and friends who stood faithfully by Jackie's side before the Lord called her home. Your love, support, and presence meant more than words can express.

Receiving of friends will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Tim Worthy. Burial will follow immediately afterward at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.

Following the graveside service, a celebration of Jackie's life will be held at the home of her sister, Holly Lynn Brown, at 267 Castleton Circle, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.

Jackie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
