Jackie Thomas Hopper

Jackie Thomas Hopper, 78, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Jackie was born January 1, 1948, to the late Jessie Thomas Hopper and Mary Frances Taber Hopper.

Jackie always enjoyed watching NASCAR Cup Racing and gardening, and in his retirement, he got his greatest joy during daily outings with Rocky.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Diane Ivey and Samantha Radica; son, Robert “Rocky” Hopper; and sister, Sandra Turner; grandchildren, Michael Blackwell, Phillip Ivey, T.J. Hardin, Loranda Del Toro, Landon Wyatt, and Lexus Wyatt; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Carolyn Ramsey Hopper, and parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Jessie Thomas Hopper, Jr. and Ronnie Dale Hopper.

The family will receive friends on October 10, 2026 from 5:00PM until 7:00Pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
