Imogene Elizabeth Nichols

Imogene Elizabeth Nichols, 88, of Campobello, SC, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Born in Little Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late William Van Gorder, Sr. and Marguerite Campbell Van Gorder. Imogene was a lady who celebrated every holiday on the calendar. She remembered everyone's birthday and would always send a card. She loved to travel with her husband and visit their kids. Imogene was a member of Campobello Community Church. In addition to her parents and six siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glen Nichols, Sr.

Left to cherish Imogene's memory are her four daughters, Sylvia Farrell (Philippe), Corinne Mueller (Charles), Holly Nichols (Celeste), and Candy Gillingham (Bob); two sons, Glen Nichols, Jr. (Cindy) and Peter Nichols (Yolanda); sister, Karen Crouse; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service to celebrate Imogene's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Campobello Community Church with the Rev. Dan Mason officiating.
