Hubert Lee Dixon Jr.

Hubert Lee Dixon Jr., age 84 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born April 27, 1939 in Gaston County, NC to the late Hubert Lee Dixon Sr. and the late Lottie Mote Dixon. Hubert was the widower of the late Merle Lail Dixon. He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of Race Path Baptist Church in Ellenboro where he served as treasurer. He loved to play cards and spend time with his family. Hubert will be remembered as a loving husband, Daddy, Paw Paw and good friend.

Hubert is survived by his daughters; Kristi Revis and her husband Terry, Kelli Lee and her husband Eugene, grandchildren; Samantha Fox and her husband Jay, Meghan Clark and her husband Josh, Jordan Jennings and Riley Jennings, great grandchildren; Colton, Madison and Jemma.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Race Path Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at Race Path Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Race Path Baptist Church at 1171 Race Path Church Rd. Ellenboro, NC 28040. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
