Henry Todd Burgess

Henry Todd Burgess, age 62 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born November 17, 1961 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Horace Burgess and the late Dorothy Guyton Burgess. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Henry is survived by his wife Nancy Owens Burgess of the home, his daughter Amy Burgess Noblett, his son T.C. Burgess, granddaughter Ambria Burgess Noblett, grandson Jaylan Moore, sister Martha Jean Byars and her husband James Arnold, step son Wade Martin, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his son Michael Sides, brothers; Jack Burgess and Claude Burgess.

The family will conduct their own memorial service Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 4:00pm at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC. Receiving of friends will be one hour prior to the service.
