Gregory Raymond Gosnell, born on September 15, 1963, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was 60 years old.

Greg was a man of immense warmth, kindness, and generosity. Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, he was the beloved son of Hugh Raymond Gosnell and Alma Jesse Crain Gosnell.  He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1982-1986 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.  After discharge, Greg was a dedicated employee with Michelin North America, US3 in Spartanburg, SC from 1986 to 2021. He and his wife retired in 2021 to spend time at home with their children and grandchildren.

Above all, Greg was a devoted husband to Kim Mullis Gosnell for 18 wonderful years. Their love story was one of true partnership and unwavering support. Together, they raised a family grounded in love, respect, and compassion.

As a father, Greg was extraordinary. He was a guiding light to his children, Tiffany Coleman (Jason), Dusty Gosnell (Valerie), and Hannah Lawter (Drew). His love for them knew no bounds, and he always made time for their many events throughout the years.  He was there in times of joy and sorrow, big and small. His wisdom, patience, and gentle humor were constants that shaped their lives in profound ways.

Greg had a passion for golf, gardening, and all things sports, which he often shared with his family and friends. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life and always encouraged those around him to do the same.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and integrity. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, including his six grandchildren, Kennedie and Keelie Coleman, Elijah, Emmett, and Eian Lawter, and Greyson Gregory Gosnell, who all brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Jean Seay (Tim) and Darlene Riddle (Allen).

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  A graveside service to celebrate Greg's beautiful life will be held at 12:30 at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, SC.

Though he is no longer with us, the lessons he imparted and the love he shared will remain in our hearts forever. We will miss his comforting presence, his gentle smile, and his unwavering support. Greg Gosnell was a remarkable man, and his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched.

Rest in peace, our sweet daddy.  You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
