Gloria Moore Emory

Gloria Moore Emory, 75, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Allen Moore and Burnice Cantrell Moore. Gloria was a proud 1964 graduate of Parker High School and a talented musician, who played the clarinet as a high school band member.  Gloria was also an accomplished pianist. She was a faithful Christian, a lifelong lover of all animals, a serious Clemson football fan, a lover of the beach and a true friend to many.  Gloria was a fantastic cook and always anxious to cook for family and friends, especially holidays and events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, John "Jay" Earl Emory.

Left to cherish Gloria's memory is her daughter, Angela "Angi" Panek (Edward); grandson, Josh Panek; brother, Bob Moore (Kathy); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:15pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. The funeral service will follow at 1:30pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Harold King officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
