Glois Irene Morgan

Glois Irene Buckner Morgan, age 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Born on April 13, 1943, in Newport News, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh V. Buckner and Ethel Phillips Buckner Frazier.

Glois was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who brought love and warmth to all who knew her. She shared sixty-five wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Earl P. Morgan. Together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Glois was the proud mother of two daughters: Keithan Morgan of Inman and Kim Jolley (Donald) of Inman. She adored her grandson, Phillip Cook (Ali) of Inman, who held a special place in her heart and a great granddaughter, Clementine Humphries-Cook of Inman.

She is also survived by her brother, Dale Frazier of Spartanburg. Glois was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother Danny V. Buckner and sister Veronica G. Buckner.

A woman of deep faith and compassion, Glois was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Her commitment to serving others extended beyond her family and church community; she volunteered with Spartanburg Regional Hospice, offering comfort and care to those in need during their most vulnerable moments.

Glois also found joy in fellowship and friendship as a member of the Boiling Springs Red Hatters. Her kind spirit and vibrant presence left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Her legacy is one of love, service, and devotion to family and community. Glois will be remembered for her unwavering kindness and the profound impact she had on those around her.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Cash and Rev. Mitch Edge officiating. Interment to follow the service at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
