Gerald Francis Zbrzezny

Gerald Francis Zbrzezny, 74, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born in Bronx, New York on May 15, 1949 to the late Joseph John Zbrzezny and Frances Veronica Reilly Zbrzezny.

Mr. Zbrzezny retired from the United States Air Force after serving for over 20 years. He loved traveling and hiking and was a fan of history. He also enjoyed reading science fiction.

In addition to his wife, Cynthia Batchler Zbrzezny, he is survived by a daughter, Christina Thomas (Kenny); sons, Joseph Zbrzezny (Deborah) and Jonathan Zbrzezny; sister, Valerie Zbrzezna (Charles Henricks); grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas and Hunter Thomas, and Eli Zbrzezny; and beloved dog, Riley.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony with full Military Honors will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. The family will receive friends at 10:00am, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
