George Kelly Tesseniar

Mr. George Kelly Tesseniar, age 80, of Campobello, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024.

Mr. Tesseniar was born in Rutherfordton, NC, July 22, 1943, a son of the late Cecil Bostic Tesseniar and Gladys Lee Biddy. He served in the US Army and was of Baptist faith.

He is survived by a brother, Bobby Tesseniar of Shelby, NC, several nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step grandchildren. In addition to his parents and stepmother, Thelma Burgess Tesseniar, he was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Finch Tesseniar; a sister, Janie Tesseniar; and brothers, Paul, William, and Edward Tesseniar.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2024, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Pastor David Duncan, Rev. Tommy Turner, and Rev. Frank Bryant officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Holland, Adam Holland, Christopher Merendino, and Otis Steadman.  Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Lindsey.

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, Friday, January 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 12:00PM prior to the service.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the following: Dr. Wilson P. Smith of Lung and Chest Medical Associates for the many years of excellent care, Landrum Drugs, and Shannon who not only delivered prescriptions but spent a little time visiting with him, Absolute Care Solutions, and Carrie one of the caregivers, and special friend, and caregiver, Joy, that stepped in and cared for Mr. Tesseniar in a very special way.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family will be at their respective homes.
