George Wesley Pearson

George Wesley Pearson, age 85 of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at his home. George was born August 28, 1939 in Rutherford County, NC to the late George Newell Pearson and the late Ola Elizabeth Womack Pearson. He was the devoted husband of thirty one years to Alice Dixon Pearson. George retired from PPG Industries and loved traveling to Myrtle Beach and watching NASCAR racing. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

George is survived by his wife Alice Dixon Pearson, his son George Newell Pearson, his daughter Traci Arnold, five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by three brothers; Doc Pearson, Glen Pearson and Jimmy Pearson, three sisters; Ethel Helton, Judith Sisk and Mary Alice Stacey.
