George Russell Jones, Jr.

George Russell Jones, Jr., 51, of Cowpens, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was born in Spartanburg on September 1, 1972 to the late Delores Bowen Jones and George Russell Jones, Sr.

Mr. Jones loved his family and his granddaughter. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Jones; son, George Russell Jones, III (Keely); sisters, Patricia Skaggs (Ricky) and Tabbetha Jones; brothers, Richard Jones (Crystal) and Corey Jones (Kelli); granddaughter, Sadie Lynn Jones; step-mother, Lucy Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee, with the Rev. Frank Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM, one hour prior to the service.
