Gennie Clark Pruitt

Gennie Clark Pruitt, age 77 of Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born November 14, 1945, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Ada Cannon Clark. Gennie was a member of Green Point Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Clark and William Clark. She was married to William Gerald Pruitt.

Gennie is survived by a son, David Pruitt; sisters, Freida Fleetwood and Vennie Keller; a granddaughter; Britni Pruitt; and a great grandson; Fisher Pruitt-Black.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

A funeral service to celebrate Gennie's life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 24, 2023, at Green Point Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Lancaster officiating.  A visitation at the church will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
