Gary Glen Burke, Sr

Gary Glen Burke, Sr., 75, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026. He was born February 26, 1951 to the late James Craton Burke and Buna Bell Lovelace Burke of Rutherfordton, North Carolina.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marie Jennings Burke; daughter, Rhonda Trout (Todd) of Chesnee; son, Gary G. Burke, Jr., (Jessica) of Chesnee; sisters, Gladys Jolley (Bobby) of Chesnee, Ellen Bolick of Mooresboro, North Carolina, and Myrtle Lane (Johnny) of Hickory, NC; granddaughter, Molly Sue Burke; grandsons, Alexander Hanna and Aaron Hanna; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by sisters, Lena Hicks, Viola Deal, and Irene Morgan; and brothers, Raymond Burke, Amos Burke, Arthur Burke, John Burke, and a set of triplet baby brothers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2025 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at 1454 Montgomery Drive, Chesnee, South Carolina 29323.
