He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jarrod Ellot Ownbey, Erin Ownbey McGee, Jordan Tyler Ownbey, Stacey Crocker Rafalowski, Ashley Elizabeth Crocker, Christopher Scott King, Jessica King Thalassenos, Fallon Ownbey McSwain, Chory Alexander Ownbey, Daun Williams, Taylor Wilbanks, Logan Hunter Ownbey, and Austin Maxwell Ownbey.
His great-grandchildren include Ethan Terence McGee, Morgan Elizabeth Hinckleman, Madison James Ownbey, McKenna Lain Ownbey, Vivian Rose Rafalowski, Wyatt Elliott Crocker, Hunter Matthew Brown, Haley Brown Lawter, Henslie Paige King, Harrison Scott King, Owen Phoenix Thalassenos, Avah Karsyn Thalassenos, Evan Maddox Thalassenos, Logan Philip McSwain, Riley Jameson McSwain, Hudson Alexander McSwain, Emmi Taylor McSwain, Ella Williams, Asher Childress, Aiden Wilbanks, Lawson Wilbanks, Dustin Seigler, Kaydence Taylor Ownbey, Charlee Ownbey, and Austin Grimshaw.
He is further survived by his great-great-grandchildren: Amelia Lawter, Effie Lee Lawter, and Elliott Grace Brown.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, Frank was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Vanessa M. Ownbey; a granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Ownbey; and his great-grandsons, Sawyer and Eowyn McGee.
A funeral service will be held at New Beginnings United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at a time to be announced. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
