Frances Robbins Jolley

Mrs. Frances Robbins Jolley, 96, of Chesnee, SC passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. She was born September 13, 1926 in Rutherford, NC to the late J.M. Robbins and Ally Branch Robbins.

Mrs. Jolley was a wonderful mother and Mimi, who loved being with her family and cooking for them. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She retired from Chesnee High School as Cafeteria Manager for 25 years.

Frances was a member of First Baptist Church of Chesnee. She loved the Lord and her church.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carolyn Hord; son, David Scott Jolley (Donna); grandchildren, Lauren Hord (Zach), Matt Hord (Lacy), Amy Lawing (Derek), Beth Sexton (Jeremy), and Sara Henderson (Ross); great-grandchildren, Noah Sexton, Eliza Sexton, Cole Lawing, and Ford Lawing; and another great-grandson that is expected in June.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by six sisters and two brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, March 10, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Chesnee with Dr. Gary Grogan officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:30PM, one hour prior to the service.
