Eva Mae Parsons

Eva Mae Linder Parsons, age 85, of Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on May 2, 1940, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Eva was a daughter of the late Minnie Green Linder and Charles O'Dell Linder, Sr. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her many siblings.

She was a member of Green Point Baptist Church and worshipped online after her health declined.

Eva enjoyed shopping, working crossword puzzles, knitting, and spending time outdoors. More than anything, she cherished time with her family—laughing with them, making memories, and simply having a good time with those she loved.

She is survived by her children: James E. Parsons, Jr. (Angie), Bryan K. Parsons (Tammy), Peggy Marie Taylor (Frankie), and Crystal English (Jerry); grandchildren, Lauren Trantham (Bryan), Stacey Winstead, Casey Partain (Steven), Zach Long (Julia), Amber Parsons, Madison Deason (Zach), Cameron Parsons, Bryan Parsons Jr. (Kaitlyn), Holden Parsons (Anna), Josh Parsons, Gavin Hodges, Jameson Hodges, and Logan Branch (Robert); and twelve great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Green Point Baptist Church on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with Rev Dr. David Lancaster officiating.
