Eric Wayne Robertson

Eric Wayne Robertson, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at his residence. Born October 12, 1945 in Kannapolis, NC, he was the son of the late Kenneth Swan and Lexie Hazel Helms Robertson.

Eric was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, NC. He was a member of the Home Builders Association of Spartanburg and owner of Robertson Construction Company, building numerous homes across Spartanburg County. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church since 1969 where he served as a member of the Building Committee and was a founding member of the Outreach Class. A long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity, he organized and participated in the building of homes in under-served communities in Spartanburg.

Eric is survived by his wife, Marion Keller Robertson; two sons, Jeffrey Scott Robertson (Linda) and Carl Russell Robertson (Erin); two grandsons, Grayton and Gianluca Robertson; and many extended family members in Kannapolis, NC and Black Mountain, NC.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 11am, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 South Church Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29306.
