Eric James Gardner

Eric James Gardner, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Jack Gardner and Dorothy Smith Gardner. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith.

Eric is survived by his son, Chris Gardner (Heather); two daughters, Ericka Gardner and Rhonda Gardner; sister, Donna Shaffer; and eight grandchildren, Elijah Rivera, Brooklyn Gardner, Savannah Gardner, Claire Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Tyson Davis, Keisha Davis, and Kane Davis.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs with the funeral service following at 1:00pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
