Epaphodithe Mizidi Blackwell

Epaphodithe Blackwell 25, loving wife of 3.5 years to Matthew Blackwell went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Born on April 24, 2001, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Epaphodithe was the daughter of Alain Mizidi, Sr. and Zyzy Sibu.  Epaphodithe was a hard worker and a loving wife that cared more about the welfare of others than that of herself. She was currently enrolled in Strayer University pursuing a degree in accounting.  It was her dream to own her own business.

Above all else, she longed to be a mother.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, and taking trips.

Epaphodithe is survived by her beloved husband, Matthew Blackwell; father, Alain Mizidi, Sr.; mother, Zyzy Sibu; sisters, Devine Lanasa (Justin) and Bellevia Mizidi; brothers, Dan Mizidi, Benny Mizidi, and Alain Mizidi, Jr.; father-in-law, George Blackwell (Donna); and mother-in-law, Tammy Cash (Charles).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 29, 2026 at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee, SC and officiated by Jeremy Miller.
