Emily Genevieve Macdonald

Emily Genevieve Morton MacDonald, 79, of Cowpens, SC passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 23, 1943 to the late Reece and Gladys Fitch Morton.

Mrs. MacDonald enjoyed books, movies, and loved all music from the 40's to the present, with the Eagles being her favorite. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathryn MacDonald of Michigan, Kim Brown (Klyde), Wendy Beardsley, and Nicole Montague, all of Chesnee; sons, Kevin MacDonald and Shawn MacDonald, both of Cowpens; sisters, Patricia Monroe, Etheleene Jernigan, and Claudine Cutler, all of Florida; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Reece and Gladys, she was predeceased by her husband, Ray MacDoanld; son, David MacDonald; and brothers, Reece Morton, Jr. and Danny Morton.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
