Emil Tat

Emil Tat, 97, of Gaffney, SC, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.

Born in Ciugud, Romania, he was the son of the late John Nichols Tat and Melania Paul Tat. Mr. Tat moved to the United States thirty-four years ago. As a result of this, many of his family members moved to the U.S. as well. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Tat.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Paul Tat and Emil T. Tat; eight grandchildren, Christina R. Tat, Ada Tat, Julia A. Tat, Mihai J. Tat, Radu Tat, Teodore Tat, Silviu Raducu, and Bogdan Raducu; and three great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Tat will be private.
