Elizabeth "Lib" Ann Sparks Earls

Elizabeth "Lib" Ann Sparks Earls, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2023, at Fair Haven Home in Bostic, NC. She was born on December 27, 1936, in Cliffside, NC, to the late Robert L. Sparks and the late Ebber Bostic Sparks. Lib is survived by her children Paul Gene Earls, Colen Lee Earls (Michelle), and Kimberley Earls Hill (Tom); and three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her youngest brother Paul Ray Sparks (Patsy) and sisters-in-law Chloe Sparks and Thomasene Sparks Moton.

Lib was born and raised in Cliffside, NC. She was next to the youngest in a large family of eleven children. Lib graduated from Cliffside High School, and she always carried a special love in her heart for the town and people of Cliffside, though she lived most of her life in Charlotte, NC. Lib loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. She will be missed by many.

A funeral service to celebrate Lib's life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC with Chaplain Denise Brill officiating. Visitation will be at 12:00 pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. Burial will follow at the Cliffside Cemetery. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
